Cala Luna is among the finest in the Golfo di Orosei and thanks to the sunny day, even if it was the 3rd of October, the atmosphere was magical.
Both bride and groom lived in London but James has scottish origins and so he decided to wear a Kilt for the ceremony.
He and his groomsman, reached the beach before Rachel and guests in order to arrange the venue to celebrate the wedding on the beach.
The wedding was celebrated with the ritual of bonding hands (handfasting), a very charm ritual of English and Scottish weddings, in which the hands of bride and groom are joined and wrapped with a cloth or a rope that symbolizes the union between husband and wife.
Once back in Cala Gonone, we moved to the agriturismo S’Ozzastru Dorgali for cocktails and dinner of typical products of Sardinia.
Much of the evening was enriched by reading the speeches by the guests to the bride and groom and then, all at once they were dancing late into the night.
A big thanks to James and Rachel!
